The YWCA Greater Pittsburgh is currently accepting resumes for a Director of Human
Resources, operating from our Downtown Pittsburgh site. The successful candidate will be
responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive human resources operation
which includes employment, employee relations, labor relations, compensation, benefits,
performance management and policy development in accordance with the requirements of
federal, state and local laws. Responsibilities include: familiarity with Federal, State and Local
laws that govern Human Resources Management such as: ADA, ADEA, FMLA, ERISA,
COBRA, HRIS, EOE/AA, etc. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, must
possess highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to deal effectively among all levels
of personnel. This position requires familiarity with the development of compensation programs,
as well as demonstrated experience working with employee, legal, human relations and labor
relations matters. Responsible for the development, implementation and communication of
Human Resources policies, and ensuring sound, consistent employment practices, and
manages the Human Resources Staff.

Minimum requirements: Bachelor's Degree with seven (7) years of Human Resources
experience with five (5) years at a management level or Master's Degree with five (5) years
experience in Human Resources with at least three (3) years at the management level.
PHRISPHR preferred.

The salary range for this position is $54,307.00 - $87,434.00 annually.
