Position:  FINANCE MANAGER (Full Time)

Qualifications:  BA/BS in Accounting/Finance or closely-related business degree
Minimum of three - five years appropriate experience required.
Experience with government contracts a plus.  Computer proficiency required, especially with Microsoft Office and QuickBooks applications.  Criminal background check required E.O.E.  

Responsibilities:  Position performs Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable, payroll, budgeting, financial analysis and business forecasting functions for the entire agency and maintains appropriate records.  Help to administer the agency’s 401K Plan by registering staff, closing staff accounts and posting payroll deductions and employer contributions online.  Initiate orders and distribute gift cards at regular intervals.  Work directly with administrative staff and with the Finance Committee of the Board of Directors on a regular basis.  Interface with Bookminders personnel for the General Operating Account.

Following duties are performed for deceased wards in the Guardianship Program:

  • final accountings
  • recordkeeping
  • research files and documents
  • monitor bank accounts (especially deposits from SSA, SSI and pensions) 

Also maintain the Special Needs Trust Account (for the Guardianship Program), including opening and closing of individual accounts, writing checks, and reconciling the account.

Working
Conditions:  Duties performed largely on site at the agency’s headquarters.

Salary range:  Starting salary range from high $30 Ks to mid-$40 Ks depending on credentials and verifiable experience.
