Protective Services Investigator, Ursuline Senior Services - Pittsburgh, PA

Qualifications:
Minimum of a BA/BS in human services field. Assessment and crisis intervention skills required. Prior experience working with the elderly preferred. Must possess a working knowledge of Microsoft applications. Reliable vehicle and valid PA drivers license including valid auto insurance needed. Criminal back-ground check required. E.O. E.

Responsibilities:
The Agency is a subcontractor for the Allegheny County Area Agency on Aging. Responsibilities include performing investigations and interventions in cases of abuse, neglect and/or exploitation of the elderly. Must be able to accurately assess needs, secure the necessary resources and develop care plans that removes the elderly from further harm or risk.

Working Conditions:
Travel is required throughout the service area. The position requires visits to various settings in the community often under less than desirable conditions.
