RenPlan® Program Coordinator, Community Design Center of Pittsburgh - Pittsburgh, PA

The Community Design Center of Pittsburgh (CDCP) is a non-profit organization that improves quality of life by encouraging good design of the built environment. By 2015, our vision is to establish Pittsburgh as a recognized place where good design of the built environment is a defining feature. The CDCP's RenPlan® program provides affordable consultations with architects, landscape architects, and interior designers to property owners who are planning improvements. Since its creation in 1996, the program has matched over 1,230 Pittsburgh property owners with volunteer design professionals, influencing an estimated $7.6 million in home renovation investments. Overview of Responsibilities: The RenPlan® Program Coordinator will be responsible for providing the day-to-day administration and support to the CDCP’s RenPlan® program, and assisting the RenPlan® program staff with program development and expansion. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: coordinating routine program activities including tracking consultations and processing related paperwork, maintaining and improving administrative systems, updating and maintaining program materials, and coordinating marketing and outreach for the program. This position requires a highly organized, detail oriented individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills. The RenPlan® Program Coordinator is expected to work collegially with all staff members, and participate creatively and cooperatively in advancing the overall mission of the organization. The RenPlan® Program Coordinator, as a member of the CDCP staff, is expected to attend the annual board retreat, and to assist with the organization’s annual events, including but not limited to Pedal Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh Design Fair, and Open House. The position is full-time, and will report to the RenPlan® Program Manager.
