POSITION TITLE: Print Production Associate
REPORTS TO: Lion Works Manager
JOB DESCRIPTION: This is a full time, non-exempt position working Monday through Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm. Job duties include, but are not limited to:
manipulating electronic art files in standard design software; operating standard finishing equipment; wrapping, packaging, labeling, and shipping finished products; problem solving issues to complete production requirements; performing quality inspection before, during and after output of each production run; collecting data and responding to print/copy equipment issues; operating high volume printers and copiers; inspecting files for problem areas, including fonts, image resolution and image registration; indexing electronic materials to media server; filing/documenting conversion utilizing standard software PDF, Acrobat, Pit Stop; performing maintenance on equipment; taking customer orders and responding to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Knowledge of standard design software such as Indesign, Photoshop, Illstrator PC and Mac required. Experience with offset and large format printing or sign shop experience preferred.
Sign language skills preferred. No functional skills accepted at hire. “Survival Plus” skills required within two years of employment.
PA Criminal Background, FBI, Child Abuse clearances, and PA driver license required.
