Title: Bike Tour Guide
Location: Various locations
Reports to: Bike Tour Coordinator
Salary: Variable
Hours: Flexible, often requires evening, weekend, and overnight hours

Position Summary:
A Bike Tour Guide (BTG) assists the Bike Tour Coordinator to execute bicycle outings for Venture Outdoors ensuring a successful, professional, and excellent experience for all participants. A BTG acts as a representative of Venture Outdoors to promote the mission of the organization.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Driving support vehicles that will carry riders, bikes, and/or gear.
• Riding among participants in a supportive role.
• Loading & unloading bicycles at the beginning and end of the trip.
• Assisting to check in riders at the beginning of the trip.
• Make minor bike repairs, to the best of their ability, along the trip.
• Ensure participants’ safety, fun, and complete satisfaction.
• Care for participants’ needs, handling emergencies and contingencies.
• Work with other BTG and staff as necessary.

Qualifications:
• Proficiency in riding bicycles or driving vehicles.
• Must possess a willingness to be positive and help out whenever needed.
• Willingness and commitment to uphold all Venture Outdoors’ policies and protocols.

Requirements:
• Must be a minimum age of 25 to drive vehicles.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Clean driving history.
• Good physical condition. Must be able to lift 50lbs.
