The Annual Fund Director is responsible for leading and growing a highly successful annual giving program.  This position will develop and implement a comprehensive, aggressive, results-oriented annual giving plan which incorporates individual, foundation, corporate and public and private components. 

The Annual Fund Director will also have operational fundraising responsibilities that include crafting proposal and solicitation requests, defining and preparing direct mail activity, writing funding requests and acknowledgements, preparing funding source reports, guiding donor relations and development, and managing special events and cultivation activities.

Requirements:

  • Ability to plan, take initiative and achieve measurable results.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.  
  • Outstanding analytical ability.   
  • Detail oriented.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects/conflicting priorities. 
  • Ability to work independently as well as on a team.

Minimum of 5 years fundraising experience required. 

Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) designation preferred.
