Educational Program Coordinator, SAE - Warrendale, PA

POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for assisting in the development and administration of Professional Development courses and/or e-learning programs in a manner which meets SAE goals, the expectations of internal and external customers, and quality standards. Emphasis is on independently coordinating the content- and delivery-related details for the acquisition, production and quality monitoring of existing and new programs.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinating the acquisition, production, inventory, delivery, and ongoing management of seminar and e-learning materials with instructors and vendors utilizing various databases and tools
- Coordinating all instructor-related course delivery details as well as coaching instructors on optimizing quality and effectiveness of learning materials and tools
- Maintaining effective communication and provide technical support for LMS and synchronous/asynchronous e-learning activities to SAE service units, instructors, vendors, and customers
- Assisting Program Developers with development tasks and continuous quality improvement of learning products
- Providing a variety of administrative and support services to Program Developers and the PD Manager
- Manage logistical aspects of assigned programs in an independent and effective manner, including special events, tours, etc.
- Contributing to the achievement of SAE's organizational goals
- Additional projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Associates degree in business or related field or equivalent experience, required
- Two years experience coordinating education/training courses (classroom and online) or equivalent experience, required
- Experience in association/non-profit environment, desired
- Highly developed planning and organizational skills
- Well-developed administrative skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work efficiently with personal computers and related peripheral equipment
- Proficiency with word processing (MS Word preferred), spreadsheets (Excel preferred), report writers (Impromptu preferred), relational database application programs (CMS), Learning Management Systems (Pathlore LMS preferred), Adobe Acrobat (full version), PitStop, working with ftp files, Webex, and additional e-learning publishing tools, as needed.
- Ability to travel up to 5% of the time, required
