Renewal, Inc. is a private, non-profit organization in downtown Pittsburgh.  Renewal, Inc. provides drug and alcohol treatment, alternative housing, mental health and community corrections services to male and female offenders in the County, State and Federal criminal justice systems. The mission of Renewal, Inc. is “Dedicated to the renewal of individuals in the criminal justice system and to their return to society as responsible citizens.” 

POSITION:  Registered Nurse

Definition
Responsibilities include serving as a case manager for Renewal’s male and female residential population and assist the doctor with physicals, medication monitoring, and scheduling follow-ups with the doctor, as needed.  Work with staff to ensure proper medication management and offer staff training.

Eligibility Requirements
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 

Education and/or Experience
PA Registered Nursing license required.  Medical and behavioral healthcare experience preferred. Must be organized and detail oriented.  Act 33/34 clearances, valid driver’s license and a high degree of ethics required.  EOE/AA
