SUPERVISION: This position will be supervised by the Executive Director of PASA

LOCATION: Millheim, PA (no exceptions)

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree required. Masters degree or relevant professional certification strongly preferred. Financial management experience, including specific work with nonprofit accounting and GAAP reporting systems, is required. Experience in organizational development, office administration and/or supervision of staff is desired. Computer proficiency and excellent communication skills are all essential to this position. Familiarity with MIP/Sage financial management software would be an advantage for any candidate.

GENERAL OVERVIEW: This is a middle management position intended to oversee all aspects of PASA’s budgeting, bookkeeping and financial reporting systems, and to assist in developing strategies and plans for continued growth of the organization. Working with other managers on the staff to provide up-to-date information for grant applications and reporting needs is also essential. The holder of this position will be a member of PASA’s Senior Management Team.

OBJECTIVES AND DUTIES:

  • Management of budgeting and financial reporting functions throughout the organization.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of bookkeeping and accounting functions of the company.
  • Reporting progress to the Executive Director and Board of Directors on a regular basis.
  • Efficient and effective inventory tracking.
  • Management of Cash Flow projections, Accounts Payable/Receivable, invoicing, bank reconciliations, on-line third-party stores, annual audits, etc…
  • Participate in strategic planning functions throughout the organization, particularly in terms of providing business planning support.
  • Maintaining positive relationships with outside agents and/or consultants with respect to the organization’s insurance, financing, physical plant, vehicles and other business-related functions.
  • Such other duties as shall be determined from time to time by the Executive Director.
