This part-time position will coordinate our organization’s forms of contact for all the residents we serve in the North Side, and communicate our various events to the community through social networking and door-to-door canvassing.

Calendar

  • Work with staff to create annual event calendar
  • Post calendar events to organization’s website as well as other local news sources (i.e. Courier)

Social Media

  • Multiple Weekly Facebook and Twitter promotions of organization’s events
  • Multiple Weekly Facebook and Twitter general posts (at least one per day to our Facebook account/Twitter:  Tweet five times per day)
  • Create event pages on social networking sites, Yahoo, our Google calendar and Facebook
  • Add at least 100 new contacts/invites per week
  • Create all event, workshop and informational flyers.  Post relevant articles and event announcements
  • Follow organizations and individuals (at least 25 per week)

Automatic Call Service

  • Input names and numbers in categories in our automatic call system ie: event volunteers, residents, etc.
  • Check with property management for move-in info of new residents
  • Update weekly all resident info in organization’s database

Newsletter & Flyers

  • Flyers on a need to need basis
  • Monthly Newsletter – with relevant information
  • Newsletter must be completed by the 5th of every month for the following month
  • Calendar of events must be completed by the 5th of every month for the following month

Outreach

  • Information that can’t be mailed will have to be delivered door to door

Website

  • Update calendar and events and content weekly
  • Update Info & Pictures

Text-to-Pledge
Manage service for all events with over 500 attendees
