Lifesteps is a large Human Services organization headquartered approximately 20 miles north of Pittsburgh in Butler, Pennsylvania. We have served western Pennsylvania for more than 87 years by helping individuals and families with life's changing needs. The Agency provides "Generations of Care" through programs and services to help those with special needs live to their fullest potential. Last year alone, services were provided to more than 8,800 individuals. POSITION OBJECTIVE: The Part-time, as needed, Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for performing diagnostic assessments and developing individual reports/programs and/or Individualized Education Plans (IEP). The Speech Language Pathologist coordinates efforts with parents and professionals to meet the communication needs of each client. When providing center-based services the Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for providing day-to-day speech and language therapy services, data collection, remedial training, and treatment for clients with communication disorders. QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Pennsylvania License and valid teaching certificate. Experience working with children preferred.
