Director, Family Services, Lifesteps - Butler, PA

Lifesteps is seeking an energetic individual who wants to be a part of an agency that truly impacts and improves the lives of thousands of people in our communities. The Director, Family Services is a full-time position that oversees the implementation and delivery of services to manage delivery of speech, child check screening, pediatric independent evaluations, adult day health services, families in crisis and home-based family support programs.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Act as a liaison with government agencies, the community and the public relative to funding, contracts and delivery of services.
Direct the delivery of programs in accordance with the Agency’s goals and objectives.
Assessing community needs for program development opportunities and identifying funding streams to support such programs.
Develop business plan for proposed program(s) and present to management for discussion and approval.
Establish and maintain relationships with other agencies and organizations in the community in order to meet community needs and develop partnerships to ensure that services are appropriate.
Supervise and mentor staff of 5+ direct reports and 40+ staff to insure compliance with all legal, regulatory and licensing requirements and Agency policies, procedures and rules.
Monitor external environment and internal information to provide input into marketing plans in conjunction with the Director, Early Education Services and the Community Relations Department.
Participate as a member of the Agency Leadership Team in the development and implementation of organization-wide policies and programs that will contribute to its overall mission success.
Direct and manage Family Services department budget

he ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a Human/Social Services field, 3 years supervisory and a minimum of 5 years Human Services experience. Preference will be given to candidates with an ABA.
