Event Manager - Part-Time/Contract

The Event Manager will increase the overall net profit of annual Fundraising event ‘Salsita’ by focusing on corporate/company sponsors and event ticket sales. Minimum anticipated event net profit of $20,000. Date of event; June 16th. Work timeframe: PT beginning February 1 – June 16th.

Responsibilities:
Generate marketing and promotion strategies for non-profit fundraiser in order to increase ticket sales and reach a broader audience.
Implement said strategies
Pursue and solidify sponsorship for event to be used for promotion
Develop and follow a detailed project timeline leading to event February 1 – June 16th (Date of Event)
Increase ticket sales for both VIP and General Admin of event
Develop distinct VIP portion of the event
Incorporate core framework of event into overall strategy
Develop documentation for PR and marketing strategies, including timeline and sample documents,, to be used by the non-profit as a guide for future fundraising purposes.
Report to Administrative Director/Board of Directors and/or Fundraising Committee Chair

Compensation – base stipend plus incentive based on percent of ticket sales and/or sponsorship revenue.

Salary/Wage: Based on stipend plus incentive based on percent of ticket sales and/or sponsorship revenue.
Status: Temp/Contract
