Digital Communications Specialist, Jewish Community Center of Greater Pittsburgh - Pittsburgh, PA

The Jewish Community Center of Greater Pittsburgh has an immediate need for a full-time Digital Communications Specialist. The ideal candidate must be proficient in utilizing software to maintain and update the agency’s websites, assist in email campaigns, optimize search and marketing functions, and maintain and contribute expertise to other digital communications projects including e-commerce and social networking.  A Bachelor’s degree is preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience with at least two years in a technology environment. 

Works independently and is a team player to develop ideas and designs that are creative and innovative to meet our strategic goals.  Must have a strong sense of graphic design, usability, information design, and the ability to keep current with appropriate digital communications media and formats, and social media. 

In addition, candidate should possess effective communication skills, both verbal and written, excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects at one time. Candidate must be versatile, a self-starter and initiator as well as a team player.  Must possess or be able to obtain Act 33/34 Clearances.
