BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
The Director External Affairs is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive branding, marketing, communications and public relations strategy that will drive the Hill House Association's growth. The Director External Affairs is a strategic thinker and tactician, that is able to expand the Hill House Association's visibility and reach locally, regionally, nationally and internationally.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Develop and implement a strategic and comprehensive marketing and communications program to position the HHA as a leading community service organization in the Hill District and wider the Pittsburgh area.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, mass communication or related field.
  • 5 - 10 years progressively responsible experience in marketing, public relations or related field with a proven track record of effectiveness.
  • Management and leadership experience is a must.
  • Direct knowledge of advertising and marketing theory, print and production, audience analytical tools.
  • Entrepreneurial, results-driven, energetic and ability to maintain grace under fire.
  • Superb writing, editing and oral communication skills
