Gateway Rehabilitation Center (Gateway) is a nationally recognized, private,   not-for-profit organization that provides treatment for men, women, young adults and youth with alcohol and other drug dependencies in locations throughout western Pennsylvania and Ohio. Gateway was founded in 1972 by Dr. Abraham J. Twerski, an internationally recognized authority on addiction. Since 1972, more than 100,000 individuals found the help they needed to begin recovery from chemical dependencies and have hope for a second chance at life. Gateway’s mission is to help all affected by addictive diseases to be healthy in body, mind and spirit.

Gateway Rehabilitation Center is seeking a full time Outreach Specialist to promote Gateway’s services to existing and potential referral sources through sales-oriented personal contact.  Responsibilities include developing new referrals and funding streams; managing referral source relationships; acting as a liaison between Gateway and referral sources; and preparing monthly activity reports.  Local travel is required.   

Requirements for the successful candidate include:

-Sales and marketing skills
-Drug and alcohol treatment knowledge
-The proven ability to educate
-Excellent public speaking and presentation skills
-The ability to work independently
