Gateway Rehabilitation Center is a nationally recognized, private, not-for profit organization that provides treatment for men, women, young adults and youth with alcohol and other drug dependencies in locations throughout western Pennsylvania and Ohio. Gateway was founded in 1972 by Dr. Abraham J. Twerski, an internationally recognized authority on addiction. Since 1972, more than 100,000 individuals found the help they needed to begin recovery from chemical dependencies and have hope for a second chance at life. Gateway’s mission is to help all affected by addictive diseases to be healthy in body, mind and spirit.

Gateway Rehabilitation Center is seeking a full time Clinical Specialist for our Aliquippa (Center Township), PA location.  Responsibilities include assessing candidates for admission and determining proper levels of care; providing clinical consultation; pre-certifying admissions; coordinating transfer of patients to Gateway Aliquippa; responding to the needs of referral sources, families of patients, and managed care representatives; and traditional admission
duties. 

The schedule is Sunday 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM and may include other coverage hours as needed.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in a counseling discipline or current RN licensure and excellent communication skills.  Licensure and/or CAC preferred.
