POSITION:                 Therapist (Parent Teen Conflict Program)
LOCATION:               East Liberty
STATUS:                   Full-time, Exempt

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum MA/MS degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field;
  • Willing and able to be available 24 hours a day seven (7) days a week on call;
  • Maintain current valid Pennsylvania driver’s license;
  • Maintain private auto suitable for transporting self, staff and clients in the course of work with proof of business use insurance coverage.
  • Child abuse, criminal history and FBI clearances will be required.
  • Drug and Alcohol testing will be required.

PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES:

  • Licensed individual preferred;
  • Ability to evaluate, plan and deliver appropriate services for young children, adults and families;

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assess individuals and families; develop appropriate interventions;
  • Provide individual, group and family therapy and short-term behavioral interventions in an in-home environment or community setting;

  • Consult with staff and other professionals to plan, coordinate and facilitate quality treatment standards;
  • Perform case management and other activities related to client services;

  • Develop treatment approaches which increase and enhance the effectiveness of Family Resources services;
  • Meet all paperwork requirements that adhere to all government and agency regulations;
  • Meet and maintain standard service hours and quality of service;
  • Attend staff meetings and clinical supervision;
  • Adhere to all Family Resources policies and procedures including policies governing clients’ rights to privacy and the confidentiality of all information concerning clients; and
  • Proper reporting of child abuse as mandated by law and required by agency guidelines;
  • Attend staff meetings and clinical supervision; and
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
