Excellent opportunity to join an Agency that has distinguished itself as a leader in preventing and treating child abuse and neglect and providing trauma-informed, family strengthening services to families in Western Pennsylvania. The position is located at the Agency’s East Liberty, PA location and the Agency offers highly competitive compensation and benefit offerings. The Team Supervisor of Prevent Services leads and supports assigned staff, monitors employee performance including productivity and attendance; prepares and submits performance related documents; oversees their training and development to assure competence and quality of services, meets with staff members individually to monitor progress; all in an effort to ensure that services align with best practices and Family Resources values. The candidate will coordinate the Prevention programs at Family Resources as well as in the community, sustaining community relationships and relationships with other programs providing similar services; Assists in the preparation and development of the annual budget for the department and monitors same on an ongoing basis to assure adherence, addressing variances as they occur. Manages direct services through supervision, maintaining data and files, completing required monthly, quarterly and yearly reports, and adhere to program guidelines and policies to assure quality services rendered. Reviews and approves all required documentation including service plans, to ensure that services are consistent with program goals and objectives; Initiates position and recruitment and initial interview of candidates; Maintains cooperative collegial and professional relationships with peers throughout the agency, participates in staff committees as relevant, assures the smooth flow of clients through agency services and organizes, publicizes and delivers educational workshops and parenting support groups focusing on family strengthening topics. Qualified candidates will have a MA/MS in Mental Health field: Psychology, Counseling Candidates will also have Act 33/34, Criminal and FBI Clearances or will be able to obtain them, must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening, and must have a current driver’s license.
