Senior Accountant, Focus on Renewal - McKees Rocks, PA

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this full time position is responsible for the day to day general accounting duties including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger account reconciliation and financial statement preparation.  The accountant prepares monthly bills to granting agencies based on services provided and maintains grant files, budgets, and allocation and reporting documents.

Minimum qualifications include Bachelors degree in Accounting and three years accounting experience along with advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office products. Experience with QuickBooks a plus. Must be a self starter with the ability to work unsupervised and have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. The candidate must be able to foster cooperation across all levels and departments of the Organization. This position has potential for advancement. Clearances are required by Pennsylvania Criminal and Child Abuse and the FBI.

Focus on Renewal (“FOR”) is a social services organization located in McKees Rocks, PA. FOR has been a beacon of hope to the Sto-Rox community for 40 years. Striving to meet the goals established for the citizens in Stowe Township and McKees Rocks, the center has grown through the years to surpass initial goals and today is a comprehensive full-service community center with satellite locations strategically placed throughout Sto-Rox.
