Carnegie Science Center is looking for a proven leader to manage the operations of our 4-story, domed Omnimax Theater. One of the most exciting aspects of a visit to the science center is a trip to see one of our engaging large-screen films, and we're seeking a manager to share that thrill with our staff and guests. The Omnimax Theater Manager oversees the staff and operations of the entire theater experience, including our ‘Max Snacks concession stand. An everyday focus on exceptional customer service and memorable theater experiences are a must for our successful theater.

Successful candidate will have a supervisory background in a customer-serving field. Ability and eagerness to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment is a must. Attention to detail, exceptional communication and computer skills, and perpetual initiative will be required. Enthusiasm for the science center, Omnimax films, and working as part of a dynamic team will be important assets for success. Flexible availability, including the ability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required. Cash handling and/or food service experience a plus. Full-time position, 37.5 hours/week.  Salary commensurate with experience plus excellent benefits package.
