Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Pittsburgh is looking for an experienced Chief Operations Officer with high level organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects at one time. This position will be responsible for creating operating and capital budgets and operating in accordance with them.  The COO will have oversight of and require a broad knowledge of information technology, facilities, counseling, and social service programs including quality assurance, with six direct reports at the director level. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations; a proven record of leading and developing staff; the ability to be an effective member in a collaborative management environment; experience with and understanding of the budgeting process and financial information; and the proven ability to facilitate and manage change. The successful candidate must be a proactive decision maker with the ability to function in a leadership role and be able to interact at all levels of staff to effect positive changes.  Exceptional communication, leadership and management skills are essential.  This position requires an MBA or Master’s degree in a related field; 5 + years experience in executive level administration with supervisory experience required, in a non-profit environment preferred.  A valid driver’s license with reliable vehicle and Act 33/34 clearances required.
