AIA Pittsburgh, a Chapter of the American Institute of Architects, is seeking a contracted PR/Media/Communications Consultant for communications and marketing support to further our mission and strategic plan. This includes implementing integrated communications designed to support key initiatives for Design PittsburghÒ  - AIA Pittsburgh’s annual Design Awards Competiton, Design Gala and Awards Ceremony, held in October 2012.

Our strategic objectives include:

  • Linking comprehensive communications strategies and actions to AIA Pittsburgh’s Design Pittsburgh 2012 goals and objectives
  • Promoting participation, attendance, public recognition, and exposure
  • Position Design Pittsburgh 2012 as a premiere regional event for architects, designers, design enthusiasts, and the public-at-large  
  • Promote AIA Pittsburgh, the organization, its staff, and its members as experts and leaders within the architectural and design communities, and as host of Design Pittsburgh 2012
  • Showcase the impact of excellence in architecture and design and its profound influence on our region’s evolving landscape, development, growth, sustainability, and quality of life
