Progressive non-profit, serving individuals with disabilities in Westmoreland, Armstrong, and Indiana Counties, are seeking dynamic individuals to join our team. Previous experience with persons with disabilities preferred. Non-profit experience helpful. All positions provide competitive compensation package including medical, dental & vision, generous paid time-off allowance, and 401(k) plan. All positions are full time unless otherwise noted.
I/DD COORDINATOR
One full time position located in the Greensburg office. Responsible for coordinating services that support a consumer’s goals to live in the most integrated community setting as independently as possible; attend consumer ISP Meetings; provide ISP and Habilitation training to DSS; ensure that consumer services are within the consumer’s service plan and approved hours; complete correspondence to consumers, direct support staff, internal staff, and external entities as required; maintain consumer files as required by state/county regulations; provides training and assistance to consumers; assumes Incident Manager role in HCSIS, including, but not limited to, acting as point person for the County and attending IM4Q incident review meetings; participates in the incident reporting rotation; compile data for reports and provide other statistical information as required and participates in agency and community events and activities. Travel required within Westmoreland, Indiana and Armstrong Counties. Master’s Degree or above from an accredited college or university and 1 year work experience working directly with persons with MR or Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university and 2 years working directly with persons with MR or Associates Degree or 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university and 4 years work experience working directly with persons with MR.
