Call for Applications

PSVP is seeking nominations from the region's most innovative nonprofits, those that are providing services in a creative manner. Nonprofits will be selected for their entrepreneurial approach to creating social change.

The training program will culminate with an evening event showcasing up to 10 finalists who will compete for $30,000 in grants. Event night, March 1, 2012, will bring together more than 300 people from the business, academic, foundation and nonprofit sectors.

THE DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS IS NOVEMBER 30, 2011.

Echoing Green
2012 Fellowship Application

The online application will be open from
December 5, 2011 through January 9, 2012

Through this two-year program, the Echoing Green Fellowship provides start-up capital and technical assistance to help new leaders launch their organizations and build capacity.

The Echoing Green Fellowship selection process is highly competitive. Applicants progress through three application stages with eliminations after each phase. By the end of the process, Echoing Green will have narrowed the 2500+ applications to 12–20 fellowships. The 2012 Fellows will begin their fellowship July 2012 and continue until June 30, 2014.

AFP-WPA Fellows Program Creates Opportunities for Diverse Fundraising Professionals

The Association of Fundraising Professionals, Western Pennsylvania Chapter (AFP-WPA) announced a call for applicants for its 2012 Diversity Fellows Program. The Diversity Fellows Program is an outreach initiative of AFP-WPA, which extends scholarship opportunities to minority and underrepresented populations for inclusion in the chapter's membership.

AFP-WPA will select two (2) Fellows for 2012, who will receive member benefits at 8% of the cost of a regular membership. Applicants must have substantial responsibility for fundraising in their organization with at least one year of experience. Fellows will receive: admission to monthly chapter programs, a seat at the 2012 National Philanthropy Day, and attendance at the AFP Emerging Philanthropy Conference. Fellows will be recognized in chapter publications and events and will receive valuable training and professional development opportunities through AFP-WPA mentors, programs, and events.
