Chuck Conner, CPC, Manager of McCrory & McDowell Employment Solutions, (MMES) has over 16 years of recruiting experience in the accounting industry. He specializes in seeking out very talented candidates with accounting and business management backgrounds and matching them with well respected and highly regarded companies. Chuck’s extensive experience and knowledgeable insight gives him a reputable edge in matching top talent with top companies. His working knowledge is authenticated by his own business background, which includes working for a international non-profit in fundraising, an engineering firm in administration and a national medical devices company as a salesman.

Chuck started his recruiting career in 1993 at a regional executive search firm before moving to one of the well-known, national, accounting staffing agencies. While there, he obtained his Certified Personnel Consultant designation. He was also a partner with a national boutique search firm. Prior to starting MMES, Chuck was recruited by and spent eight years with one of the top 50 CPA firms to launch their executive search and temporary staffing division. During his tenure there, Chuck was consistently ranked as one of the top executive recruiters. In 2007, he was awarded the prestigious “Office Of The Year” award.

In December of 2009, Chuck was hired to start up and lead the Employment Solutions division of McCrory & McDowell. In this role, he will ensure the ongoing success of his clients by effectively delivering on-target recruitment performance coupled with the highest degree of professionalism in targeted markets. Chuck will specifically be recruiting top accounting, finance and human resources professionals for some of the most respected companies in the tri-state area, as well as the country.

Chuck is an avid horrible golfer and hiker, and also enjoys spending his free time with his wife and their two children. He lives in North Fayette and is active with the Western Area YMCA, Airport Area Chamber of Commerce, is listed as “Pittsburgh’s Most Connected recruiter” and is a member of the National Accounting Career Network.
